Urology department
The Urology Department of our hospital is one of the newer departments of the institution, as it has been staffed and operating since 2007. From the outset, regular morning clinics have been operating, and more recently full afternoon clinics as well, while since its establishment it has served the population of the region – and beyond – performing a wide range of minor, intermediate and major procedures, oncological and non-oncological, on a weekly basis.
In 2025, the department was equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including an advanced laser system by the German company Richard Wolf, marking a new era in the region for the management of urinary stone disease and minimally invasive surgery. Furthermore, the department remains committed to strengthening its staffing and further modernising its infrastructure, with the aim of providing the best and most comprehensive care possible to the community.
They operate daily in the morning and on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. AN APPOINTMENT IS REQUIRED.
