Radiology Department
The Radiology Department of Aigio General Hospital provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging services (Conventional Radiography, Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound, Digital Mammography & Bone Densitometry). It also provides immediate imaging and diagnosis for emergency cases in the Emergency Department (ED). The department operates 24 hours a day to serve inpatients and emergency patients.
They operate every morning (conventional radiology, CT, digital imaging, ultrasound and bone densitometry) and on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons (conventional radiology, CT & ultrasound). AN APPOINTMENT IS REQUIRED.

The department is equipped with modern and complete imaging systems covering the full spectrum of diagnostic radiology. From conventional and portable X-ray systems to digital imaging units and the 16-slice CT scanner, clinicians can effectively investigate both routine and complex cases. C-arm fluoroscopy units are used daily in operating theatres for interventional procedures, while the bone densitometry system assists in diagnosing osteoporosis. With the support of the digital CR system and laser printer, the department ensures fast and reliable diagnostic results for patients.
